New Story offers customized and targeted consultative services including assessment, strategic planning, in-school and in-classroom supports designed to strengthen the quality of special education services in schools, provided additional capacity and knowledge to staff and contribute to small and large-scale improvements across the district.
RESPONSIBILITIES WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGProvide direct/indirect behavioral services to students and/or teachers and classroom support personnel in either individual or group settingsProvide supervision to assigned RBTs, BTs and other classroom leaders and/or support personnel to support identified goalsProvide oversight for one or multiple student's ABA programs in the classroom including oversight for paraprofessionals who are working with the student(s) directly.
Individually assess students to identify learning and program needsDevelop initial programming and ongoing modification to programs as neededProvide direct intervention, instruction and supervision to classroom support personnelMonitor program and progress and provide daily progress reporting and data analysisProvide daily progress notes for school and familiesCreate functional behavior assessments and related behavior intervention plans and create social skills and/or skill based assessments as neededProvide consultation to teachers and other behavior support or classroom support personnelAssist with development of behavior strategies, IEP goals focusing on behavior reduction and replacement behaviors and data collection tools and methodologyProvide instruction for Response to Intervention (RTI)Provide Behavioral Skills Training (BST) for classroom staff on identified interventions QUALIFICATIONS WHAT YOU BRINGMaster's degree in psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study.
