OverviewDevelops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to quality and/or BLA's (biological licensing agreements). ResponsibilitiesResponsible to the site QA Manager for all Advanced Digital Technology, Tool Inspection and MTE activities. Plans measurement events of tools and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precicion and accuracy of products and production equipment. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Must have a working knowledge of CATIA IV / V , CADAM and FARO technology as it relates to analysis of data from Laser Tracker and PCMM (FARO Arm) to engineering data. QualificationsThe successful candidate will typically have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and ten years of related experience. Prefer candidates with at least 2 years' experience of FAA DAR (Designated Airworthiness Representative) or unit members of a Prime Manufactures ODA (Organization Designation Authorization).
