Assembler, Sr


In addition to the function, duties and responsibilities set forth in the labor grade 32, above employees must also be able to perform a variety of assembly/Inspection operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies and/or build parts for such assemblies, according to work instructions. Perform or inspect setups and adjustments, holding tolerance to blueprint and work instructions specifications. May perform a wide variety of complex
tests on fluids and electrical systems,
checkouts, troubleshooting and rework on components, instruments and assemblies; may prepare reports and suggest improvements and modifications from data collected. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other controlled procedures. Will also assist with inventory and cycle count.


High school diploma or equivalent. Post high school coursework or professional certification preferred.

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly prefer aviation/aerospace, sub-assemblies/assemblies experience - 1+ years
  • Experience drilling and reaming close tolerance holes and installing fasteners in integrally machined structures
  • Experience applying information from blueprints, drawings, schematics, and other specifications to install assemblies, sub-assemblies, and/or subsystems, countersinking, seams
  • Experience using measuring equipment and calibration tools.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
