In your role, you will:
Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, either at the same location or as a stand-alone, the SHRA is responsible for providing generalist HR support to staff and line management, primarily in the implementation of core HR processes; recruitment, compensation, employee relations, labor relations, training, performance management, etc. The incumbent will interpret and apply policies and procedures. The role will vary from site to site based on local, business and HR priorities. As the Manager s prime sounding board and trouble shooter, the incumbent will focus on high priority/high complexity projects: process improvement, procedure development, issue resolution, coaching of line management, training, and labor relations.
Research and respond to questions from employees and managers regarding Human Resource programs, policies and procedures; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within department and all employees
Manage the process of selecting qualified job candidates in a timely and cost-efficient manner for all exempt and non-exempt personnel; ensures all recruiting practices are in compliance with applicable laws and company policy; develop and implement recruitment strategies with Talent Acquisition and Management to include interview teams, job postings, and external advertising
Develop and maintain orientation presentation. Conduct new employee orientations, ensuring all necessary forms are completed and returned; ensures that hiring managers are informed of their orientation responsibilities
Conduct exit interviews for departing exempt and non-exempt personnel for evaluative purposes
Coordinate all immigration requirements with IMM, legal counsel, and employee
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
You have at least 5
years professional and progressive experience with Bachelor s degree in related field or 7
years professional and progressive experience in related field
You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications
You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, management, and contractors
You have recruiting, hiring, and interviewing experience required
You must have experience with union/labor relations
You have experience with SAP preferred
You have experience with Salesforce - preferred
