The Industrial Engineer Intern is responsible for working in a team environment to provide support in assisting with special projects and processes. This internship is based in Red Oak, TX.
In your role, you will:
Adhere to General Work Requirements
Analyze and compile data
Update and maintain databases
Assist with special projects that focus on delivering results against the business plan
Work as part of the team to provide support to ensure reliability and efficiency with processes
Interface with Bombardier personnel to ensure consistent, practical and effective solutions
Provide engineering support
Assist in designing, planning, scheduling and managing Facility and Maintenance improvement projects
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate:
You are currently in school working towards a Bachelor s Degree in the Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering field.
You are able to work approximately 20-30 hours per week, between the days/hours of Monday through Friday, 8AM 5PM.
You have basic knowledge of ISO 14001 certification requirements
You have basic knowledge of facility energy management principles, techniques and procedures
You have basic knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations and industry standard requirements for OSHA and EPA
You have project management skills
You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other business areas
